Purpose of and legal basis for processing personal data
ØBO TOURS processes personal data in order to be able to manage and perform our obligations in relation to our customers, suppliers and business partners, and only to the extent necessary for the operation of ØBO TOURS. The purpose of processing this personal data is to be able to execute sales and contract processes, to be able to deliver requested offerings, products and services, to be able to process orders, issue invoices, make payments and follow up on enquiries via e-mail or telephone.
With permission or to the extent allowed by law, data is used to target new items and other marketing to customers for whom we believe it is relevant.

ØBO TOURS processes personal data which is needed in order to fulfil the purpose. This includes data such as, but not limited to, name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, job title, employer, date of birth, position, including preferences and interests in a professional context and, in some cases, also special dietary considerations, etc., that you have told us about. We also collect information about you from public sources and social networks belonging to third parties, as this enables us to serve you in the most relevant way and with a high level of customisation.

 

Who we share your personal data with
ØBO TOURS discloses or passes on your personal data to system suppliers (e.g. web and CRM provider), hotels, bus operators, ferry operators, guides, restaurants, etc.
ØBO TOURS does not share personal data with countries outside the EU/EEA unless there is a basis for such processing activity. If this is the case, we use the EU Commission standard contract for the transfer of personal data to data processors in third countries.
ØBO TOURS does not disclose your personal data to third parties with a view to selling, marketing, spamming, or any other kind of proactive contact.

Your personal data comes from the information you have submitted to us, whether verbally, by e-mail, via our website, or which we have collected from public sources and social networks belonging to third parties.

ØBO TOURS stores records of personal data for as long as ØBO TOURS has a legal basis and a carefully considered legitimate purpose for storing it. If we are required by law to store data for longer – e.g. pursuant to the Danish Bookkeeping Act – we will do so.
